Toddler Storytime

Ages: 0-2 years old

Simple stories, rhymes, and songs

Length: 15 minutes and then play time

Every Tuesday from 10:30am-11am

Preschool Storytime

Ages: 3-6 years old

Enjoy stories, rhymes, and songs

Length: 30 minutes and then playtime

Every Thursday from 10:30am-11am

Book Babies

Ages: 0-24 months

Stories, songs, and bounces

Length: 15 minutes and then playtime

Every Wednesday from 10:30am-11am

Pizza & Paperbacks

November 9th 3:00 pm- 4:00 pm

Lacey Timberland Library

Teens, join us to talk about books you love or hate, swap book suggestions, get a free book, meet people, and of course, eat pizza. Sign up at the Youth Information Desk to reserve your slice. Anyone in 6th-12th grade is invited.


Maker Space

Early learners are invited to explore and create at the library's Maker Station. Hands on activities for kids of all ages.  Available every day during library open hours

Watercolor Card Making

Learn basic watercolor painting techniques to make your own greeting cards! We will provide the supplies and have a short tutorial to follow along with – or just paint what you want! Materials provided on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.

Macramé for the People

December 14th 2:00 pm- 4:00 pm

Join our beginner class to make a simple macrame plant hanger for indoors or outdoors. Learn the basic macramé knots: larks head, half-hitch, square knot and spiral knot. Once you master these easy knots, use your imagination to create one-of-a-kind plant hangers, wall hangings and more. Be part of the retro craft revival of macramé to make homes for your house plants and easy gifts for friends and family! Materials provided on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.

Pokémon Scavenger Hunt

December 21st-23rd, 26th-30th all day
