When it comes to planning my children's BIG birthday party, I have to admit, I get a little bit of anxiety. I am sure that you know what I mean. As a mom you want everything to be perfect. I want to ensure that I get the right decorations, have fun and engaging games, and of course the food! Birthday parties can be a lot of work and clean-up is just as hard (if not harder) than planning! When I had the opportunity to host my daughter's 6th Birthday party at the Hands On Children's Museum, I jumped with joy. Our kids love it there. But there is more.
The Hand's on Children's Museum makes planning a party so simple. I selected a party type, desired date, and the "ultimate blow-out package." They emailed me to confirm my selections and then I chose the 2 hour time frame. The best part is that you and your guests can use the museum all day long. So you can play, play, play then join everyone for the party! It makes for a really fun day.

We ended up choosing the Blowout Party in the Acorn Room. The staff prepared everything beautifully with nice green tablecloths and had plenty of space for everyone to walk around and not feel cramped. They even provided us a rope and a hanger for a piñata. Our party included yummy cupcakes from Abby's Cookies & Cupcakes, candles (if needed), plates, forks, spoons, cups and juice for the child guests. Every room comes with a celebration banner. The best part is that we were provided a museum staff assistant the entire time that helped us to make sure everything ran smoothly so that we could enjoy the celebration with our friends and birthday girl. The staff assistant also provided face painting to all of the guests. The kids were happy! Everyone had a great time.

In the end, the staff cleaned everything up. It was the smoothest birthday party that I have ever had. I highly recommended that you take a look at the Hands on Children's Museum for your child's BIG day! You will be happy that you did.

Non-member military families receive a $25 discount on all parties.
