Trick-or-Treating in Thurston County

I came up with a few places to enjoy trick or treating with the whole family.  



OCTOBER 25


South Sound Parent to Parent Trunk or Treat
2108 Caton Way SW, Olympia
4:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.

This is South Sound Parent to Parent’s first Trunk or Treat event and it will be fun for all ages.  They will have games, activities, story times, and a chance to decorate a pumpkin.  This event is geared towards children with disabilities.  All ages and abilities are welcomed.  They will have South Sound Reading Foundation giving away free books.  Make sure before you go to vote for your favorite vehicle!  



OCTOBER 26


PTA Fall Festival

Mountain View Elementary School
1900 College St. SE, Lacey, Washington 98503

5:00pm-8:00pm

Bring the whole family to Mountain View Elementary for a fun family event for all to enjoy!  We will have a variety of carnival games(pumpkin toss, cookie/bookie walk, fishing hole, pin the eye on the monster, plinko, pumpkin bowling, pumpkin ring toss, tattoo parlor, frankenstein velcro toss, and more!), bounce house, and tons of crafts(provided by Cabela's)

This year we are bringing back the Haunted Hallway๐Ÿ‘ป๐Ÿ•ธ
Food will be available for purchase.

We will be having a costume contest for each grade level and each winner will receive a prize.

OCTOBER 27


Saint Martin’s University Community Halloween
Charneski Student Recreation Center
5000 Abbey Way SE, Lacey
10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Bring the whole family for a fn FREE event.  They are giving away a FREE Halloween bag to the first 100 kids.  They will have a ton of candy, games, crafts, and prizes. This event is recommended for children 12 and under.  Saint Martin’s is a Teal Pumpkin Project Participant and will have small toys and games in lieu of candy for those children with allergies or dietary restrictions.


Olympia Farmers Market Trick-or-Treat
700 Capitol Way S, Olympia
12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Come on out to the farmers market and bring the whole family for some fun.  Kids under 12-years-old can join in the fun of a costume contest (suggested fee of $5)

and then free trick-or-treating at participating vendors. There will also be a photo booth, activities, cooking demonstrations, and more.


First United Methodist Church of Olympia Trunk N’ Treat
1224 Legion Way SE, Olympia
1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

This event is FREE and open to all ages.  Come on out and get some treats.  They will also have games and crafts going on inside.   

Northwest Harley-Davidson Trunk & Treat
8000 Freedom Lane NE, Lacey
2:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Make sure you show up in your best costume!  Fun for all ages.  You must be 18 and over to enter their truck-or-treat contest. Entry fee is a donation of an adult jacket, blanket, or $5 for the American Lake VA Hospital homeless domicile and veterans fighting cancer. Winner receives a $50 gift card.


OCTOBER 28


Tumwater United Methodist Trunk or Treat
1401 Lake Park Dr SW, Tumwater
2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Open to all ages.  Visit each trunk get some candy!  When done head on in for some games and activities.  


OCTOBER 31


Trick-or-Treat

TRUNK OR TREAT

This is a FREE community event that is a safe, fun place where the kids can fill their pillow cases with treats as they go trunk to trunk.  You might just run into your favorite princess or warrior hero.  

Trick-or-Treat Treasure Hunt 

Downtown Olympia

3 PM - 6 PM

Bring the whole family trick or treating!  They will even be having a treasure hunt.  Click the above link for more info.

Bring the whole family to this fun event.  Kids will enjoy trick-or-treating and when done head over and give back by donating to the Thurston County Food Bank.
